Fort Smith, Arkansas Times Record: Geneva Schmalz Asbell, 73, of Fort Smith died Monday, July 18, 2005, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was an employee of Price Cutter at Central Mall and was retired from Whirlpool. She is survived by one daughter, Monica Hill Plymale; one grandson, Dustin; a sister, Florence Otten of Subiaco; a brother, Richard of Hayward, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be sent to Sebastian Humane Society. Arrangements under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith.
