Martin Erbar was the older brother of Margaretha Erbar, wife of Carolous Charles Ehrbar. He came to America in 1845 from Untermesendorf, Germany and Martin became a naturalized citizen on October 9,1860 in District Court of Cleveland. (file #3512). He settled at the corner of Settlement and Hummel Road in Middleburg, Ohio where he became a farmer on his land. He died at the age of 86 years at his residence and was buried from St. Mary's Church in Assumption of Mary Cemetery, Brookpark, Ohio. His house was originally in Middleburg, Ohio but the boundaries were changed and it was then called Brookpark, Ohio.
• He appeared on the census on August 1, 1870 in Middleburg, Cuyahoga, Ohio. • He appeared on the census on June 22, 1880 in Middleburgh, Cuyahoga, Ohio - District 67. • He appeared on the census on June 12, 1900 in Middleburg, Cuyahoga, Ohio - District 222. • Martin was buried in Assumption of Mary Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio. Martin married Eva Margaretha THOMAN. (Eva Margaretha THOMAN was born about 1820 in Bavaria, Germany, died on May 5, 1890 in Brook Park, Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA and was buried in Brook Park, Ohio - Assumption of Mary Cemetery.) |
